This solitaire slider features a beautiful 8mm Oregon sunstone. Sunstone is a feldspar (the same family of moonstone and labradorite - no surprise there!), and is flecked with copper deposits, which is why it looks like it is full of confetti glitter. The color of the stone ranges from a deep russet red through a bright pinky, golden orange depending on the angle and intensity of the light. It's an utter delight. Supporting and framing the stone is a beautiful, wrought frame with filigree cut outs that is cast in solid sterling silver. It is threaded with a tiny 1mm bright sterling silver chain.
